I would doubt it for the simple fact that generally all the "good" deals are limited to a few per store.

They will price match themselves though, if you buy something and go in on Boxing Day and it's cheaper they will refund the difference. My brother did that with a Surround Sound system he bought. He paid $600 but on Boxing Day it was $370 and they refunded the money.

Won't they potentially throw the "no exchanges or returns" policy at you? A price adjustment is almost as labour intensive as processing a return or exchange.

She tried to deny me but when I pointed out their no returns on Dec 26th, and that I'd "waited" until the first available return day, she phoned the manager and after a brief talk, I got the money refunded.
So, I guess from my example, YMMV and you may have to argue.

I can confirm that there will be NO price matches or guarantees from December 26-31 at Staples, for ANY reason whatsoever.

YMMV.
and btw, PMing at stooples is not a definite "NO" b/c unless it's a "doorcrasher" or "limited quantity" then there's no reason to deny it...
it's been talked about last yr

We've been told by our head office not to PM for any reason, regardless of what the issue is. If the item is still on sale beyond January 1st, then we are able to do it.

The problem with PMing on boxing day is that chances are when they call to check stock--it's all gone!

The last few years when I worked at FS, people were trampling over each other to grab at products. You'd get shot by the angry if you tied up a salesperson that long to get a PM, in addition to the fact that other stores simply will not pick up the phone.

so if I buy something from FS or BB before boxing day...since I get a minimum of 14 days price guarantee period...I can PM the price for boxing day?
What?
I mean isn't that the policy of FS and BB when it comes to product price?
Does that make sense? Anyone?
Quote from FS policy,
"Get it for less. Guaranteed™.
We will beat any advertised price.
Our get it for less guarantee ensures that Future Shop and futureshop.ca will beat lower prices advertised, including those on the internet, by authorized dealers located in Canada. If you find a lower advertised price for an identical item before or 30 days after your purchase we will beat it by 1 1 0% of the difference. If our own price is reduced within 30 days of your purchase, we will refund the difference to you. Computers, monitors, printers, notebook computers, camcorders, digital cameras, radar detectors, portable DVD players and air conditioners are only eligible for price protection under our guarantee within 14 days from the date of purchase...
...Our get it for less guarantee does not apply to advertising errors or misprints, special educational prices, restricted offers, mail order offers, rebates, coupons, premiums, free or bonus offers, OEM products, limited or minimum quantity or limited time offers, close-outs, liquidations, clearances and special financing offers....
