Do you get headaches when playing games in 480i/SDTV?
So, I just opened up my new 360 and plugged it in... thankfully, GRAW works.
Anyhow, after playing for about 5 minutes, I have a splitting headache.
I was wondering, is this because I'm playing in SDTV and I need to let my eyes adjust to it? I find it hard to read any of the text and the overall image is blurry.
The last console system I played with was the PS1, so I haven't had to deal with SDTV gaming in a while.
Is this something I will get used to? Or will I need to shell out for the VGA cable addon thing?
Barring that, is there a way to increase the font for the dashboard and for games? That would probably help a lot...

It's the SDTV: I have the same headache problems with composite, S-video and component alike. You're not going to "get used to it", you can keep gaming in physical discomfort but I'd advise against it.
Dell's widescreen LCD monitors are a quality and affordable way to go. While I can't vouch for this particular model, there's a new model 22" widescreen LCD for $299 with free ground shipping.

Yeah, I think I'm going to try to find a VGA cable and get a monitor. Doh.

Definitely go LCD, my CRT one was brutal for the 360 (but excellent for everything else).

Sometimes I would get headaches when playing fps games on the old n64. That's if I was watching mostly. Most of the time when I was playing and feeling good, it wasn't a problem. If you have a headache, stop and play again later if you want.

No. The Premium bundle does come with Components though.
