You throw the word "melanotan" out there like everyone knows what that is. Are the melanotan peptides so commonly known about in Canada that one can just casually mention the word and everyone knows what's being talked about?

They sell melatonin pills as natural health products to help induce sleep caused by jet lag
And if you get sleepy b/c of jet lag, going out in the sun rids the body of some melatonin so you can feel awake.
---
Tanning salons are dangerous and you should wear sunscreen when using them (according to health professionals).
---
Spray ons can be very faux looking. Many just look orange.
Just get some good ol' natrual sun. Or better yet, do some sun bathing in your backyard / balcony so you don't get any tan lines
Edit: A little off topic, an awesome thing to do while tanning is to draw on yourself with permanent marker or a sharpie. When you tan, those areas will not get tanned so you can end up with cool "tan tatoos"
I had a big smiley face on my back a couple years ago, and some Chinese characters last year. It is awesome :D:D I love the summer :DLast edited by shannn; May 10th, 2009 at 11:44 PM.

the insecurity is because I cant find the right shade of eyeliner to match the lipstick ;)

your nick is "melanotan"! woah!?
tanning bed - never go for the high intensity ones or too long. Need to gradually increase time over WEEKS. I saw a couple returning for another session after clearly getting burned before (peeling).. rush job preparing for Cuba? And, its cumulative damage.. dries up skin, wrinkles and ages it.
I did for a few weeks in winter - no sun = messed up mood loss apettite.
Sun - same cons except its free.
melanotan - yes, its drug. Its peptide. It more powerful copy of molecule that stimulates your skin to make melanin - the brown pigment that controls color of skin. Melanotan is NOT FDA approved. But, meant to treat folks with skin probs and very pale. It comes in powder (which you mix with water) or vial and you inject it. Thousands of folks, especially in UK and Australia are illegally "guinea pig" using it, especially body builders. Side effects nausea, vomitting, loss appetite. Also its expensive - little vial only lasts a few times and you need a LOT for whitie to turn Indian._______________
