As per the Nike website instructions this can be caused by improper washing. I usually use powder detergent (tide, sunlight), spin to dry or hang/lay flat and I have no issues. Maybe if you try doing that it may help.
Good info. I was looking for an official source. I will try powdered detergent. I've been using the liquid stuff all this time with no results.

I buy Dri-Fit tops but don't use them when at the gym. It's for casual outgoing dress. I just wear a t-shirt which I don't care for. Rather save the nice fitted or compression tops and not have them smell or ruined when working out.

Lululemon is expensive, but so is Asics for their tops. I'll check out the Metal Vent tops as some posters suggested. I think Nike and UA have the best dri-fit clothing. Reebok, Adidas, Puma, etc. are not the same.
