does anybody know soundproofing foam for desktop

My computer has so much noise, so I need some pack to kill the noise, but I just search information for acoustipack precut, but I do not know where i can purchase them. of course, we can do it by ourself, just buy some soundproofing foam. does anybody can help me?

You're probably better off investing in quieter fans.

Car audio sound deadening works as well. its not cheap but its easy to work with. The easiest brand to find would probably be Dynamat. But there are many other companies as well.

But as was suggested, you could probably save money and buy some nice quiet fans and save yourself some hassle.

Yeah your best bet is to isolate where most of the noise is coming from.

Usual suspects include the CPU Heatsink Fan, the Power Supply Fan, and Hard Drives. It's probably not a good idea to fill up a case with foam as it restricts airflow further and not good for the components inside.

I find the biggest noise suspects to be the video card and chipset fans. They are usually of the smaller variety (40mm for chipset) and very whiney since they need to spin fast to generate any decent airflow.

If you have good temperatures and your motherboard is capable, you could try controlling the fan speeds using Speedfan.
