Does HMV ever have Black Friday Deals
Either in the US or here? I am expecting many stores in Canada to have great deals for Black Friday. They would be fools not to with the current draw from the U.S.

NO...They would be fools not give incentives for consumers to stay in Canada. About HMV I have not seen much regarding them and deals.

Um...it's called Boxing Day. In case you didn't know, they don't have that in the USA.

Is "Black Friday" applicable only on Friday, or is it for the full wknd?

I doubt Canadian stores will have any deals comparable to that in the US on Black Friday.... Now Boxing Day, that's a whole other ball game.

In the past they have not had any, just like the US not really having a "Boxing Day" sale in name, they basically call it after Christmas sales. Maybe some of the shops close to the border as people wait to cross might have some sales

Go on the Hot Deals forum, you'll see that a few Canadian retailers/online stores have Black Friday sales. Which is kind of funny considering I've never seen that before. Heck I only learned about US Black Friday sales a couple years ago simply because I'd never heard of anything of the sort in Canada (because it's not our "holiday").
But it seems Canadian retailers scramble to stop people from going across the border now touting their very own Black Friday sales
As for Boxing Day, c'mon... A lot of Boxing Day prices in Canada are just regular prices in the US, LOL. Given with the dollar and changing prices today you don't really see it as much as you used to, but I remember many years where many things on "sale" on Boxing Day in Canada were still more expensive than in the US on any regular day. The only things that were actually cheap were limited-quantity/doorcrasher type deals, of which most of them you never really wanted but the deal often made you want to buy it anyway.
