Does a "For Trade" (FT) thread have to have a price?
I have noticed a lot of self appointed RFD "Price Police Officers" in the Buy, Sell, and Trading Post threads telling people to post a price on items that they wish to TRADE.
Now according to the RULES which states:
You MUST post a price for ALL For Sale (FS) and For Sale/For Trade (FS/FT) topics.
How can a price be put on something that is to be a trade? I can see posting the value of the item being traded but to post an asking price on something that is strictly up for trade seems to be a little silly.
Now I've been on this forum for a long time and feel that this is still a clouded issues. Could you (THE MODS) shed some light on this please.
Much appreciated...

It means that any thread that is either purely FS, or both FS/FT, must have a price because of the FS element. FT threads do not require a price, consequently.
