Good find. I had one of these back in the day. Worked great. However with most modern cars, you either have Bluetooth or Aux-in. Obviously useful if you vehicle has neither.

Found this on amazon.ca review:

“Good product, works for me. You do have increase the volume more that normal. Here is a comment I found on another blog.
"Transmitter works great if set up properly. If set to international mode and 87.9 and you will never have static or other interference. Here's how you do this:
1) Plug in and turn on ignition.
2) Press the + and - button simultaneously and hold down. Continue holding down as you see LX at the top of the screen, then DX, then US then LX DX US INTL all together. Let go of the buttons when you see all four at the top of the screen.
3) Use the + or - buttons to set the transmitter to 87.9
4) Hold down the SmartScan button until you see P1 appear. This establishes 87.9 as a pre-set.
5) Tune your radio to FM 87.9 and you're ready to listen, with no radio interference!

Because Griffin doesn't want people to switch to international mode, they changed the way it works on the 2014 version. To change modes now, you hold down the + and - button until LX starts flashing. Then you let go, and then hold them both down again. After a few seconds, "US" will show up flashing on the screen. Hit + or - until "EU" appears, and you are all set.”

I have something similar to this for my car and its one of the best purchases I've ever made. The BT will auto connect once the car is on, so no need to press any buttons to get them to pair (unless its the first time or you unpaired them).

My buddy has a different one that isnt powered via the cigarette slot, and its super annoying as everytime he gets in the car, he has to manually turn the device on, and has to disconnect it and recharge the device.

Amazing.

I need this. Hopefully some in stock by me!

My Bluetooth in my car broke. This is a rather cheap solution :)

According tho the specs, there is no BT on this device. https://griffintechnology.com/itrip-auto-universal-plus

Good find, you can essentially use any boombox, office radio etc. as a run and gun speaker to play music from your phone. Unless you're an iphone user, lol.
