I was hoping for more new two-packs. Wait, or was I? I started off only planning on buying a pack for nostalgia. Damn you for starting this thread. :D
once you start you cant stop. I guess you're still trying to figure out how deep this rabbit hole goes lol

Don't mean to Necro the thread, but went to Vaughan Mills TRU and they had some single packs like Y-Wing, Snowspeeder, Slave 1, and a few more for $1.97 in a clearance bin. Unsure if other TRU's are clearing them out either so YMMV.

Reviving this again, didn't think it was worth making a new thread...

Went to Dollarama and saw the Black Series ships. Very similar to the Hot Wheels but come in a box and are a slight bit more detailed. The stand doesn't look like a pair of robot legs either. Sparse selection, didn't pick up any. Something to hunt around for since they are a bit nicer for the same price.

Star Destroyer comparison:

I prefer the look of the Hot Wheels, although the Black Series does have the nice feature with the Blockade Runner. But it's not enough that I want to pay $4 versus, essentially, $2.

Some other ships compared:

Hey, time to check stock again. I found a few more new ones at Dollarama. Tantive IV, Imperial Shuttle (old style not New Order), and Red 5 X-Wing (Luke Skywalker's)

Found some new to Dollarama Star Wars Hot Wheels toys at 118 Ave and 103 St Edmonton Dollarama (near Kingsway and NAIT, by Value Village). Poe's X-Wing, Rey's Speeder, and Kylo Ren's Shuttle are $3, while Darth Vader's TIE X1 were $4.

I wonder why some of the singles are $3 and some are $4. They should all be $2!!!

The $4 ones are physically a quarter bigger then the $3 one. The Millennium Falcon is also $4, for example.
