Prob stores getting rid of it since it just hangs on the shelves forever.. Who pays $15-20 per wiper unless they really really need it.

How old are the blades?

The rubber might dry up and crack if they're sitting too long on shelves.

They supposedly have rain-x built in. It is a synthetic compound that beads away water.
So in theory, you will get a better windshield wipe.

I've used RainX original, where you spray it on your windshield and then you wipe it off. It leaves a thin coating on and actually works really well.
It usually only lasts a couple months though.

In case any British Columbians are wondering, this location is not in Victoria, neither is it in Terrace.

It is in the centre of the universe (where I used to live).
