I need a review on what a Domino's medium pizza is like. Is this a better deal than getting two Wendy's burgers for the same price?

I don't see how you could compare Domino's and Wendy's -- best you could do is compare how full you'd be after eating.

Domino's can be hit or miss on whether it's made good or not. Also, as others have stated, pricing (for upgrades such as pan pizza) can vary from location to location. You can always make a complaint if it's not good; and you may end up with a free pizza.

For those in Vancouver, 1254 Kingsway is only a dollar more to upgrade to a pan from a regular medium. I've ordered from there a few times so far and have been happy.

My comparison test.
I tried with a rolling pin to flatten a wendy's patty so it measured 12" across. I got it done. Hint - use tin foil or parchment paper on the counter. The granite holes absorbed my first try. Take the bottom of the bun, apply similar technique. Flip the patty off the tin foil onto the bun base. This went so well I did the same to the top. I couldn't get the cheese to go that thin - so I used orange Pam spray instead. Lettuce has no nutritional value anyways so I skipped it. I prefer no onions too. I failed on flattening a tomato slice as the seeds wouldn't go flat and protected the surrounding flesh. I hit them with a hammer, but it dented the counter - right through the tin foil. If I had a wife she wouldn't be talking to me. My damage deposit has been lost in the name of science. One burger done. I did the same with the second, applying my painful learning from the first. I carefully put the dynamic duo on a piece of paper towel while I got a Coke Zero. But I made the mistake of leaving lunch in the sunshine. The burgers acted as a magnifying glass and lit the paper towel on fire. My lunch is now ash, the counter looks like some mad smoker has gone to town. On the good side, Coke Zero put out the flames. Domino's has never damaged my counter top, so Round 1 to the pizza.

Has anyone found a location in Toronto that DOES NOT charge an extra $1 or $2 for pan?

Tomatoes plus jalapeños is the way to go for pan. Too bad they don't have basil.

I'll pay more for the pan... it's night and day compared to regular crust...
