Other than Dick Chenney, I can't recall a two term vice-president who didn't want the top job. Something was fishy when Biden didn't want to run and Crooked Hilary was competing with 11 dwarf candidates. Now, Biden may run in 2020!
That's harsh. Only Dennis Kucinich would qualify as a dwarf.

I heard he and John Kerry were in a competition as to which can fit more botox in their face.

Anyways, the Obama/Biden ticket was entirely Obama. Could have been Obama/Pelosi or Obama/Hillary or Obama/Weinstein. The winning ticket was always Obama plus one.

So if Biden thinks he can win his own ticket, I encourage him to try. He'll find he's less appealing than Hillary.

He does have the option to start "The Biden Foundation".

From what I have heard about the situation it seems Obama basically bankrupted the Democratic Party and Hillary was the only personality that could raise the funds to save the party. As such they basically gave her control of the party and the de fact nomination. It is odd to me that Brazille is so concerned about this now...where was she a year or two ago when it was happening? Where was her concern when she was handing Hilary debate questions?

Seems to me that Brazille thinks that the party is heading in a new direction and wants to get off the bus heading in the wrong direction...we all know that Bernie got screwed but we knew it when it was happening.

btw...the Democratic Party is heading further left, further towards to Sanders socialist agenda. This will only weaken the Democrats for they didn't lose the last election because they were too conservative and pushing further to the Left will only alienate mainstream Dems.

So here's my hunch.

-She got whisked in quite fast due to the Wasserman-Shultz revelation via wikileaks. Remember, this was right before the convention. The DNC needed someone with long-time Democratic Street Cred to calm the Sanders folks. Brazile was it.
-Brazile was probably aware of the issues, but she was primarily a commentator on CNN so less involved directly. CNN at the time prior to that was at least trying to show some kind of 'independence' from any political party at the same time as being a 'commentator'. But of course, as we all know, Clinton had almost every journalist in their back pocket and she was pressured/sold on it.
-Her immediate goal was to stabilize the situation. Didn't really have time to reflect what was happening since Hillary was crowned.
-So she does everything to help Team Hillary. Goes along with the program as Hillary's folks who are known to be savage pitbulls press her. Everything she needs something however, it gets shunned, as in her words, they were very sexist towards her (Mook and his Homosexual all-male posse). Also, she is a non-Clinton Democrat as she played a key role in keeping Bill Clinton off the spotlight during Al Gore's run.
-But Brazile goes along with it as she is still promised riches from the Clintons. But still, Brazile is fuming at being handcuffed. Taking heat for being discovered in giving interview questions, etc. But it'll be all worth it when Hillary wins.

-Hillary doesn't win and she gets nothing. Then it be like "Alright you punkarse Hillary, I'm a gettin you back for this. You think I'm a noob. You lost.. you have no more power. I'm going to finish you off politically. I can play this game too. Because of you, I lost my job at CNN because you didn't even have the confidence to beat this old man. I'm pointing the finger at Obama too for destroying my beloved Democratic party which I was involved in when you were just street communist organizer. "

Hillary by knowingly getting the questions in advance (like trading on inside information instead of reporting it), will almost now disqualify her in the future.

Could be though I wonder why Brazille kept silent about this for a year after the election...why now has she suddenly seen the light? If she felt this way all along she could have been saying these things long ago.

I suspect that the reason she kept quiet is that she assumed Hillary would walk away with the victory so shit up and ride the wave. Now that the wave is breaking in the wrong direction she wants to ride another wave.

I actually liked Brazille. I'm a conservative so i differ from her politically but she always seemed genuine, aware of her biases. That ended with the debate question fiasco.

For sure she went along with it expecting a win. But I'm sure she was frustrated and shaking her head basically saying "She'd better win and deliver on her promise".

She was quiet while she was working on her book it seems. Better to keep it quiet and come out strong for maximum impact like it did to spur the book sales. I think what you're seeing in her is she's "old school". She's right when she says she's used to retail type politics. Knock on doors, talk to people as opposed to the new Robby Mook way of analytics, pure fund-raising/vote-buying/manipulate with commercial Executive Managerial approach. So she jumps out more and can talk more honestly about things as opposed to being so weasily like an elite.

She seems to be jumping on the Bernie Sanders wagon. I don't think that will spell a better outcome for the Dems. As I said earlier, they didn't lose because they were too Conservative. I think much of Trump is actually a reaction against the far left turn the Dems have been taking.

what? I thought it was against Clinton. No one has ever liked her. It was like Mayor Ford getting elected.

It may be likely, but it seems IMO that she genuinely wants to rid of the Clintons and their backroom influence which can only lead to more losses. People now see through these type of shenanigans more than ever. Also, in the old days, when one side lost, they capitulated their backroom influence. But with the Clintons, through their complex web of arrangements (which I give full credit for their 'creativity'), they're still obsessed in trying to stay 'Kingmaker' and be relevant. Brazile coming from that "you lose, we have to genuinely try something different" definitely doesn't agree with it, and she does see that the Bernie Sanders types are the most engaged Democrats out there so probably going more with that for now.

i dont see this as a dissatisfaction with the dems moving more left, i think the US government as a whole has failed the american people and trump swooped in and spoon fed them a bunch of silly crap and they eat it up. obamas failures and largely because of republicans trying to do everything they could to make obama fail which obviously hurts the american people and people were just to dumb to see who the real culprit it.

the dems need to eradicated the corruption within the party and move more left and provide solutions for a better america, something the republicans will never do or care about. if the dems can show america a better future, the people (the majority) will support them. i personally like the green party of america and the libertarian party too more so than the dems.

Hillary could also take note that NeverTrumpers were wanting her to shut up for a while too.

Anyways, I'm happy Hillary isn't President. Trump worries me but someone who would risk war with Russia over conspiracies (merely to save face for being unwanted in the rust belt) isn't the kind of person you want having nuclear codes either.
