Some should add Hidden & Dangerous to the list of free games, cause they have made it free to download to premote the 2nd one coming out.

The halo demo from microsoft's website is a cool game too! they also have the demos of age of empires and other games.

There's thousands if not millions of demos out there. I think the point of this thread was full-version free games, not demos.
