drive test failed western digital

when i use the western digital scan tools, i get thsi error. should i return it back to amazon.ca
will they take it.
i got this via the 99$ deal last month
if you dont have an answer, dont repond to my thread.
I need answers, and thats why i use redflagdeals forums.

If WD tools fail then yeah you should return to Amazon or WD which ever offers you a free shipping ticket.

I generally do not trust vendor-specific HDD evaluation tools, but if they tell you that a drive is dead/dying, then that is very likely the case. Perhaps try using a generic SMART-reading tool (ie: smartmontools) and it will tell you if there are errors.

Agree with the above poster, probably time to look at a RMA.
