Driving to New York with an Ontario G2
Quick question guys, can I drive to NYC with my G2? Am I going to be hassled at the border? I've looked at the New York State driving laws and it has no mentions of graduated licences. I'm going to New York this new years and I was wondering if I could drive my car over there.
Thanks in advance.

I did and no one hassled me at the border. Dunno what happens if you get stopped by a cop though.

New York State said that there are restrictions if you drive in NYS with a learner permit issued by another state or country. There are different restrictions if you are less than 18 years old and you drive in NYS with a driver license issued by another state.
You must obey the restrictions of both the state that issued the driver license or the learner permit and the NYS restrictions on learner permits or junior licenses. Contact the state (country) that issued the learner permit or the driver license to learn about the restrictions in that state. If your learner permit is only valid in the state that issued the learner permit, you cannot drive in NYS.
You cannot drive in NYS if you are less than 16 years old. A learner permit or a driver license from another state or country does not exempt you from this rule.
