Dropped calls help
Recently I've experienced more dropped calls then normal on my Telus Iphone 3GS. Anyone experienced this problem? Is this a telus problem or an iphone hardware problem? Any suggestions on what I should do?

I just switched to Telus from Rogers (I'm exclusively in the GTA). In the past 2 weeks, I've had more dropped calls and disconnects, than I had with the entire 10 years that I was with Rogers. Rogers billing is junk, and their decisions frustrate me, however when it comes to service, they are hands down the best in Canada (for consistency).
Does Telus normally give you credit for dropped calls, or are they so common that they just ignore the issue?

they told me to change the sim card and upgrade the software. but it didn't really change much. now, my phone also keeps saying "call failed" so usually i have to dial the number twice before it will connect. It sounds like this is more of the phone's problem than telus' tho

The four people I know who've gotten iPhones in the last few years all have noticably poorer reception, call quality (at least on my end) and call/message notification, regardless of carrier.
I've seen a couple of my co-workers apparently experiencing intermittent signal and telling people they'll call them back when they get more signal.
(Yonge-Weldrick area)
Judged purely as a "phone", iPhone seems somewhat bellow average at any price range, let alone it's own.
