Dsl or cable teksavvy kw area!?

I'm going 300GB instead of unlimited...

Hopefully I won't go over the limit.

More importantly. MY LINE BETTER BE STABLE AND FAST!

Teksavvy Pro 16 = $49.99 (cable)
Teksavvy DSL 15 = $45.99 (dsl)

But then there's Cable 28 -- which is same price as DSL 15...

What should I GET?

All I want is high upload speeds

edit: I need to buy a new modem for cable... The SB6121 Motorola which is like $100 after tax... Plus installation fee... That's like $200.00 initial :|

dsl first came to my area before cable and i loved it for a few years but they overloaded thier network with customers and when i moved i changed to cable and kept them for many years until i moved again and tried the telus optik TV which required dsl ... been with them for over 3 years now and i have been happy with them. cable gave me a more stable ping but at a higher avg when i used to test it while dsl gave me lower during my prime time and higher in offtimes which was weird.

only reason i will change is if i get a better package deal on tv/internet and maybe phone.
Poor Grammar and being long winded don't fit well together, Oh well.

depending on your line stats and distance will determine your signal quality.
this will also factor latency due to crc errors.
for me if in the right distance and line quality is good. DSL is always better then cable. prime time or not.
lower pings consistently. cheaper plans and higher upload.
not to mention plenty of hardware option as well as providers and features.
btw what is kw area? kitchener-waterloo?

if your line stats are not taht good on adsl1 consider upgrading to a higher tier speed plan.
they should move you to a closer stinger or remote and put you on adsl2+ or vdsl2.
this will greatly improve line stats.

I had to do pfsense.

My router can't handle the load of all my equipment... The modem kept timing out with the router.

the pfsense is basically the router now. The old router is wifi only

I still get random slow times but no more disconnecting :D .

openvpn is on the NAS which is finally almost complete (China parts taking forever to get here)
