I think you may need to change the router from gateway mode to the other one?

No I think he is in the right track, it's just that everything has to be done in order. (as posted earlier)

I'm 192.168.1.100, but that was a good thing to check for.

This way you can get back into it.
Use a cross over cable to go from port 2 of the Linksys to port 4 of the D-Link
Pressed and held the reset button a bunch of times, doesn't seem to do it. Am I not holding it long enough (10-15 seconds)?

I'm not sure about the d-link but the lights should all flash when it resets.

Newbie
I didn't read all the posts, but I found this helpful when I placed my DI-624 as a wireless ap, connected to my main DI-704P.
http://www.dslreports.com/forum/rema...=di-624+switch
Not sure if you've done it already, but connect the RJ45 from your Linksys to any port of the DI-624 except the WAN one.

To fix your issue:
On the back of the DI-624, hold the reset button in for 10 seconds. makesure you use a pin or a safety clip or even a tooth pick. You should feel it Click a little bit.
On the front the lights will blink all on, Then off, then regular. This means that it was reset properly.
Plug the DI-624 into your computer.
It will automatically give you DHCP. Check your IP address.
The computer's IP address is 192.168.0.101 or 102 etc etc. The IP address of the router is 192.168.0.1.
Logon to the router
go to Wireless
Change your SSID ( to whatever you want )
Change the channel ( you might need to disable super G )
Leave encryption alone for now, you can do that later
hit apply, wait 10 seconds, hit continue
now go to LAN and change the LAN IP address to 192.168.1.2, hit apply, wait 10 seconds, press continue
Login to the router using the new IP address 192.168.1.2.
Now you disable DHCP. Go to DHCP and Disable. Press apply, wait 10 seconds, then continue.
Now you plug LAN port on the DI-624 to the LAN port on the Linksys router
Now your network should work

Haven't had a chance until tonight to try the latest batch of feedback out, hope it works; Mario Hoops 3 on 3 comes out next week, and my friends need to be taught a lesson.

I tried on my own and it works, I confirm the steps I've take is similar to what CdTriX explained
Basicly:
Disable the DHCP server on your DLink
Set the DLink IP to 192.168.1.x (your choice, I'd go with .24, as it's the DI-624
)
Dont use the WAN post, use the LAN (1 to 4)
Setup the wireless connection using the wizard if needed
That's it! If you don't relay on the Linksys DHCP, when manually configuring, you have to point it to your gateway (and dns) to the linksys and not the dlink
