DVD Player deals?
Well folks,
Been holding out for months for a Boxing Day DVD player deal. One of those Panasonic 642's sounds nice but hey...beggers can't be choosers.
Maybe Leon's will put the rest of the players that were on sale a couple of weeks ago on clearance
Anyone know of any deals going on.

Leon's $79 sales isn't good enough?
PM at BB/FS, to get $78
Or even better, use 10% off GC's to buy to pay actually $70
It's all relative, it was $99.99 and people were buying it a lot too
got mine off RFD member for $80, I'm happy enough

There is this deal for a Nova DVD Player, at either Bestbuy or Futureshop
$29.99- $10 mail-in rebate on Boxing day. I don't know which model or if its good or not.

I was under the impression that the Leon's deal was just for the week. Is it still going for that price?

I picked up a 642 for my dad last night at Best Buy. PM'ed the $79 Leon's price, although he tried to tell me they were out of stock without even calling them. I convinced him to call them though and he eventually ended up selling it to me for the Leon's price. Didn't press for the 110% since it was only a difference of one dollar.
Then he tried hard to sell me the extended warranty... no thanks!

It would great to find a great deal on a combo dvd/vhs unit. With the technology moving forward so fast I don't want to invest alot since the vhs option is only for existing tapes as production of the vhs's will ceast in the near future .
