DVD Players with 2 or More HDMI Outputs

I was wondering why doesn't any dvd player have 2 or more HDMI outputs such as having an input from another source connected to your DVD player and one cable being connected to the TV from the dvd player.

This would be great if the DVD player is not on or playing then other the source is being output to the TV. good for ppl who have one HDMI input on their TV's.

Has anyone seen something like this before. I know there exists switch for HDMI btw.
