DVD Ram vs. DVD-RW- or +

Hi,

If a DVD recorder says that you can record on either DVD-RW- or DVD-RW+, does this mean it will not record on DVD Ram? I'm getting conficting information on this. Almost like DVD Ram is some univeral format or something. Does anyone know?

it has to say that it records dvd ram to be able to burn it.
check your dvd recorders manual and see if dvd ram is on teh supported recording list.
