DVD Region Code Problems
I have a bunch of DVD VOB files and I believe its in the PAL format, because I burned it and it gives me the "Cannot play because of the limited format" or somethiing like that, basically meaning that it has region encoding..
But I decrypted it using DVD Decrypter, and even after I burned it, I still get the same message. Could it be something done "permanently" to the files?
I always thought anything could be removed......but normally DVD Decrypter should be able to get rid of anything...so I'm not sure what the problem is....
The DVD which I burned can play fine on my computer, however on my DVD players I get the "cannot play" error...
Any thoughts?

Maybe because your DVD player can't play PAL?
You may need to convert it to N<a href=../autolink/redirectpage.php?linkid=140 target=_blank>TSC</a> format.

oh...i thought just by decrypting it, that it would convert it to a format in which all dvd players can read it...
i'll google looking for tools to convert it....but in the mean time, if anyone has found a successful way to convert it, could you please offer suggestions? thanks...so basically a method to convert from PAL to NTSC

There's a way to hack your DVD player to play any format, I remember reading it somewhere. Try searching on Google for info.
