variations of sandwhiches.
pita bread
flat bread
foccacia (is that the right word?)
or was it "panini"
Use different types of ingredients. there are dozens of different cheeses and cold cuts.
Try using avacado. Those make good ham/cheese sandwhiches.

easy-to-make lunches that tastes good?
when i was in elementary, I was always given a sandwich, which was just two slices of bread and a load of coldcuts, i quickly got bored of them, probably cuz they tasted really dry and boring
now i'm in university, but i'm planning to make a big purchase soon so i'm considering packing lunches to save some money
any ideas on something that doesn't take too much prep time, and doesn't require microwaving it up before eating, yet tastes decent?

i personally like left over pasta. its good warm or cold and very easy to make in large quantities. you can also experiment with different spices until you perfect a taste you like. it also always good with the ladies to know how to make a good dinner too.
ive always found the best/cheapest lunches are left overs. $20 can feed you for a week with pasta btw
.
be carefull buying large quantites of food if your in a rez too. i dont know how many people i knew who went "hunting" in other peoples suits. also room mates no matter how cool cant always be trusted.Last edited by Forsaken_Angel; Sep 19th, 2006 at 10:28 PM.

besides sandwiches .....some prep time ahead, but no microwave needed (i hate using public ones anyway, lineups and uncleaniness), let's see:
+ luv the salad wraps esp. with grilled chicken and ranch dressing,
tortilla wrap ... add any salad/meat/cheese,
macaroni/potato/egg salad,
luv cold macaroni&cheese,
cold noodles with sliced cucumber & carrots,
instant japanese noodle cups,
fruit salad,
any soup/stew like campbell's chunky (just warm it in the morning and keep warm in a thermal container),
i second the advice for leftover pizza (leftover chicken i'd warm it up),
tacco sald with beans & ground beef
...... don't forget the drinks and all the snackies to keep awake!

Play a game where you steal a different co-workers lunch every day of the week
It will add some excitement to your boring day at work and you're guaranteed something new each day_______________
