Has anyone had Home Depot quote for Eaves replacement?? We have a couple of companies coming to quote for eaves replacement, and Home Depot just happened to be the first one. Just wondering how they might compare with other local companies?? Any ideas?

I had some seamless put on by a local roofer south of Ottawa and it was $10/ft of trough length and that then includes all down spouting. I got 135 of trough and 3 downspouts for $1350

My parents got home depot to do the eavestrough. They had a sale at the time. 15% discount. After discount came to around $1495+tax. I think the price was okay plus if there's any problems, home depot will probably be around much longer than the warranty.

Sorry, the contract didn't mention how many feet. HD came over to access and gave us a quote. It's over 1000 feet though. My parents roof is slightly sloped and the shingles covered 2556 sq feet. So I guess maybe the eaves trough is under 200 feet?
You should get a quote confirmation with them. Also if you want to save more, there's HD gift cards on sale that you can find around. If you pay with GC you can save a bit too.Last edited by rain; Mar 23rd, 2011 at 01:29 AM.

I got a quote from HD as well and also from a private/local contractor the difference was huge. HD = 1264$ + HST Local = 1600$.
Also another thing is that what is good galvanized Aluminum or PVC....also make sure to ask about the distance between the 2 brackets that'll go over the eavestrough.

Wow, high prices up there in Ontario. I'm building a new home down here and they're coming next week to do 241 feet including downspouts for $3.85/ft for 5" seamless and that is middle of the road pricing around here.
