Just called in this moring and got the value for 3 games, including MHW. I’m kinda surprised MHW is only $25, was i quoted a wrong value i wonder.

Monster Hunter World PS4 $25
Assassins Creed Origins XBONE $18
Mass Effect Andromeda XBONE $3
Man I hope that MH W TIV is wrong. That's bullcrap they would drop it like that so soon

I went this morning to trade Monster Hunter World but it was reduced to 25$... surprise. I kept it since I was torn on this one.

Dragon Age Inquisition : 3$
Dragon Quest Builder : 6$
Overwatch : 19$

Oh and the charming lady tried to make me feel bad to put the credit on my account. Jesus, as long as your system is gonna authorize it, I'm gonna do it.

Splatoon down to 15 dollars before 2x trade.
A note, if looking for an upgrade to Bayonetta from Wii U to switch, $3 for the first, and $11 for the 2nd. They won't double the trade, but you can get 26 for Bayonetta 2 as part of the trade 3 get it free promo.
This is a highly collectable title still even with the new version coming out.
I wouldn't sell it for less than $50.

Since a lot of games can be bought cheaper at other outlets, I find the trade value of any game to not be as good as simply keeping the game and buying whatever you're looking for elsewhere.

For example, I can get Splatoon 2 for $30 trade in credit which brings the cost of a new release title down from $80 --> $50. Or I can simply just keep the game and buy the new release title for around $60 through E3 promos and such.

As of late, EBgames are simply not providing the value that IMHO makes the trade worth it. More often than not, it's better to just keep the titles you own and buy whatever you like when it goes on sale elsewhere.
Here's the thing... DON'T trade in games against other games.

Get your games from other retailers or on sale in general (E3, promo, boxing day, etc, etc, etc) but then TRADE your games at EBgames against hardware and controllers. Buy your first or second Nintendo Swtich this way. Buy a Pro Controller this way. Buy your replacemnt PS4 slim this way....

Use your trade credit against the stuff that doesn't often go on sale and lose value.

Yeah, RIP Splatoon 2. I'll just hang on to it and MK8: Deluxe until the next revision of the Switch comes out and pick-up Bayonetta 2 with my Amazon Prime discount. The difference between the two methods is only $25.

Anyone trade in Super Mario: Odyssey today? Would expect it to go down from $35 before.

Exactly, and my only reason to trade games in to EB is when I want to buy a new controller. Trading low-value games (even at 2X) to EB for new games at MSRP is for suckers.

For PS4:
Battlefront 2 - $16
Wolfenstein 2 - $16 or 18 (can't remember)
Tekken 7 - $17

Switch
Splatoon 2 - $15

Decided on keeping all of my games.

(Above values are pre-promo TIVs)

As I thought, FIFA 18 on Switch was changed from $21 to $20. Got $40 after the promotion. I'm pleased. Hope you all had good returns as well.

You traded all those for 20.5!? Their HQ would be laughing their ass of for reselling majority of those title for 10 - 15 back out.
I would have kept those that are below $5 for target practice.
To be truthful, I know I could have maybe tried to sell these on my own, but really at what? $5 to $10 each? Then, having to deal with the usual haggling and meeting up at a place or time inconvenient for me.

Considering I got rid of my PS3 last year, I was shocked I even got a quarter for some of those. Anyhow, I was there anyhow for trading in my COD. Clearly, I never bothered to venture to EB earlier to trade in those fossils.
