You traded all those for 20.5!? Their HQ would be laughing their ass of for reselling majority of those title for 10 - 15 back out.
I would have kept those that are below $5 for target practice.
To be truthful, I know I could have maybe tried to sell these on my own, but really at what? $5 to $10 each? Then, having to deal with the usual haggling and meeting up at a place or time inconvenient for me.

Considering I got rid of my PS3 last year, I was shocked I even got a quarter for some of those. Anyhow, I was there anyhow for trading in my COD. Clearly, I never bothered to venture to EB earlier to trade in those fossils.

Would have been much better off waiting for the Trade More Get More promo.

But if you are happy, that's all that matters.

Well guess I'm keeping my Splatoon 2.

Since a lot of games can be bought cheaper at other outlets, I find the trade value of any game to not be as good as simply keeping the game and buying whatever you're looking for elsewhere.

For example, I can get Splatoon 2 for $30 trade in credit which brings the cost of a new release title down from $80 --> $50. Or I can simply just keep the game and buy the new release title for around $60 through E3 promos and such.

As of late, EBgames are simply not providing the value that IMHO makes the trade worth it. More often than not, it's better to just keep the titles you own and buy whatever you like when it goes on sale elsewhere.
The $10 trade list in particular is being pruned pretty hard. EB had some great trade deals last year, but this year not as much. Which is a shame since it's lose/lose all the way around: we don't trade in, therefore there are often no interesting recycled titles available in the store, and EB's margins drop from 40% to 0% if the initial trade-in doesn't occur.

If you trade to visa gift card there’s a $6 activation fee quite steep
Does this also happen if you ask for a prepaid mastercard instead?
