You get store credit, and their regular prices aren't the hottest. Their rare sales promos are worth saving your credit for, however. Or you could just transfer to a gift card.
There games are overpriced but once in a while they will have a decent sale. Best is to use the credits on consoles or console upgrades.

Or game cards if you don't care too much about taxes. Not that PSN charges it anyways.

Wish they had the 50% bump again to get rid of some of the older console games but that hasn't happened in quite a while so I might just trade them in when I trade some of the current generation games.

I doubt you're going to see any deals for last-gen games at this point.

If you look at even the $3 trade value document HERE the PS3/360/3DS/WiiU games are gone. They for sure don't want any more and I'm assuming as soon as the next-gen consoles are announced (or even before) they're going to stop accepting them entirely.

Those $4 Dollerama Titan Fall 2's are looking real good right now.
I doubt they're going to accept them.

You are either a collector or you're not. Don't pay attention to these type of trade in deals if you are into collecting. You should be collecting for your own satisfaction. If you have a million dollar art piece at home, it's still collecting dust. :)

I've got a friend who collects games as well. After he finishes a game, it goes on the shelf. Some of them he never even played. He doesn't think about "may be I should trade these in instead". So don't worry about anything else and just do what you do.
I never thought of it that way. You’re right too. It’s hard not trading in a game that you weren’t satisfied with. That’s my only dilemma.

Will EB accept a trade-in with no game cover? just the disc? I remember trading one in years ago and they took just the disc. Not sure they still do though.

I keep my games except the ones I thought weren’t worth recommending for anyone else to play. So Uncharted games? Kept the all, and happy to. Final Fantasy XIII-2? Traded. Knack? Traded. God of War? Kept. Etc.

Maybe he'll have success trading them all in, buy a bunch of prepaid MasterCards, and pay for a night course to teach him how to spell...

I think that varies from location to location. Call and ask.

Havent traded in for a long time. Once you get the credit, can you use to get gift cards or playstation network cards?
