This is how you slow down the scummy resale market. Nintendo should send hundreds of units to each store (more to the popular stores) and EB should follow a strict policy of walk in customers only and one per customer.

I was at an EB the other day and they said the consoles arrived last week and they received way more than expected. I don't think this will be in short supply.
Current cell plans:
Fido $15 3gb
Koodo $40 for 5GB Public Mobile migration plan.

Affordable wireless is possible, just takes some creativity.

Yup, my buddy works at BestBuy and he says they received their consoles already. He says they have a lot of extra consoles even after fulfilling all the pre-orders.

Nintendo did the right thing this time by producing more than enough to satisfy the market.

I'm sure this will sell out, which is what Nintendo what's.

They are usually quite conservative with their production numbers. In their head,it's better to have less available than a bunch of leftover inventory, which hurts their "power brand".

Good, I'm glad that there will be lots of units. I got my pre-order in with EB Games, but I'm happy that people won't have to fight as badly as they did for the NES Classic.

I wish people harm if they meet someone trying to resell anything for profit. Concert tickets, these NES/SNES things, etc...

Got word the STC Walmart is getting a ton of units as well. Store opens at 7am I think?

Most definitely. Sucks to be scalper scum.

Great for those that... oh, I don't know, actually want the system and the games and aren't interested in making more money. That's what our jobs are for, guys.

Thanks OP. Nice to know I'm not gonna have to camp over night to get one. More upvotes are deserved for this one.

Gave the OP an upvote, just because nothing in there screamed downvote. Regardless, games on this one are not for me, but glad it sounds like there will be plenty of supply for anyone that wants one.

Wish they would produce more NES Classic systems.
