This is great news...and Bravo Nintendo!

I missed out on the NES Classic... but I grew up with the SNES so this is more sentimental for me. Glad that it looks like a lot of people that want one, will be able to get one from a reputable retailer at MSRP.

500 may seem like a big number but don't forget to consider how many people live in Toronto. Not to mention, not every store in every city will have that many units.

After 25+ years since the SNES came out and technological advancements, I would be very surprised if they can't produce these things easily.

LOL at all the downvotes on this. Probably all thepeople who thought they could resell their preorders for huge profits.
The downvotes were from his original title which he has since edited. It originally said "reseller alert.......", making it look like he was giving an FYI to scummy disgusting scalpers. I'm really happy there is tons of stock and hopefully scalpers won't make a penny from it.

I wish people harm if they meet someone trying to resell anything for profit. Concert tickets, these NES/SNES things, etc...
Take it easy man.

I'm sure by "harm" he meant a scrapped knee or a chipped tooth.

Not a severed artery or a sliced off limb like I'm sure you're assuming.

But no mention of how many, if they had lots they would of guaranteed 50 per location for example like TRU but no guarantees from them or BB

Ya - if all EBs had say 50 or 100 I would be very excited.

No word on any numbers... I fear the worst.

We have never seen console launches with such great numbers. Might sell out but going to be relatively easy to pick one up tomorrow across the country. And now the scalpers have 30 days or less to make their return. So expect a bunch more just from them in the next couple of weeks. lol.
