EB Games Edge Card - discount on used hardware?

Can anyone tell me if the Edge Card will get me a discount on used accessories? I need an Xbox cable. Thanks.

I was gonna start a new thread but found this one instead.

I bought a used PS Move controller the other day and the sales guy talked me into an Edge Card. After discounts and all, the card cost me about $2 for the year. He mentioned I would get 10% more for trade ins and 10% off used games/accessories. Does the discounted value go on the card for used purchases or is it automatically deducted by 10% prior to payment? Also, I googled what the Edge Card entitles (lots of contradiction) and they mentioned a one year subscription to some gaming magazine?

What are the main reasons people here use/have an Edge Card?

I don't know if it was just the store I was going to but they took the price right off of that purchase, but they did give the option of storing it on the edge card instead.

You're getting confused with the US program. The 10% trade-in bonus and the magazine subscription (which is Gamestop's in-house mag) are US only.

In Canada, the Edge Card gets you 10% off used games and accessories. That's it.

It is worth getting if over a period of a year you spend over $50 in used games and accessories as the cost is $5.
