Maybe I'm just old school but I really don't need devs to hand everything to me on a silver platter for me to enjoy something...
nevermind, after I wrote this I kind of expected a "im a better game than you.." response, but i hoped that redflagdeals had a higher class of person than the standard game forum.
I enjoyed the games too but both are definitely artifically padded. no question there and that was my only statement - never did I say I ddn't enjoy them, only that the design was set to extend gameplay artificially. you even admit "having to repeat certain sections". dark/demon souls are both great games but the game worlds are quite small compared to other rpgs and it would be quicker to finish if not for the artificail padding.
I am enjoying dragons dogma a lot but it is easy to see how they padded it with no fast travel and lots of meaningless sidequests. same with darksiders a great game but with tedious backtracking to pad the length. something like skyrim doesn't really artificially pad and instead just gives you a gob of things to do in a monstrous world.

Even if it were not for all the time you spend walking and such... Dogma would still have very longevity. the New game+ in Dogma is one of the best NG+'s I've ever seen. It literally fits into the story (I know, weird). And the UR dragon is one of the coolest idea's I've ever seen executed. I'm still playing Dogma, and I picked it up day1.

Yeah... sorry if I got all elitist on you. I usually don't try not to get involved in these types of arguments... really. Especially when the topic at hand had nothing at all to do with it. It's just that your comment sort of came out of the blue, and I just (over)reacted.
For what it's worth, I agree with the gist of what you're saying. I really hate it when games make things take longer than they should, especially stuff like unskippable cutscenes just before a difficult boss fight, etc. I just don't feel that way about what you described in your first post, hence my response, but to each his own.
Anyways, I'll leave it at that. Sorry for the derail.

Deal is live, but the guy had to do it manually.
Traded 7 games that had TIV more than 3$ and got 30$ bonus.
PSP games are included in the deal.
EDIT: here are the games I used:
PS3 White Knight Chronicles - $6
PS3 Dragon Age II - $6
3DS Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon - $6
DS Rhythm Heaven - $4
360 Blue Dragon - $3
PSP Space Invaders Extreme - $3
PSP Secret Agent Clank $4,25

It's a great game but it seriously needs fast travel
. If it had fast travel I would have no problem recommending it but the walking is just boring

The reason that they have to manually because EB is giving $30 EACH game if u trade 7 and more. ^_^
Got $250 for my 7 games.... It's a glitch, but HQ sent out the memo to ask the store to do it manually for now.

Hahaha... are you serious? That's awesome...
Anybody have luck with PS2 games? I doubt I have many worth over $3, but I'll guess I'll give it a go.

I seriously doubt any csr would be dumb enough to give you $30 per game. If so, you have the dumbest csr ever and should have quickly went back a few times.

Totally sounds like a bs story and honestly I could not walk out of the store and keep a straight face and even feel good about doing that. I am too honest. The deal is not meant to be $30 per game.

Hopefully someone will make a list of the best turds that will trade in for the $3 min. to fit this deal. It is true that the game has to be at a minimum of $3 ? I really am going to hate bringing in every game known to man and bugging the people at EB Games/GameStop to check to see if the darn game is a $3 min. game.

Time to trade in the extra copy of Demon's Souls that I got for the console promo and then was lowered the next day.. lol.
Some good turds... well check out the Source cheap games thread, lots of turds for dirt cheap there. Then check tivs.ca to see if they're more than 3 dollars.
