I'm pretty sure EB Games does not do that. If you're feeling particularily devious you could just purchase a new one, and return it with your old receipt and get a full refund. I mean, it's not even awful to do since EB is a scumbag when it comes to customers anyway.

Hard to say, its EB we're talking about... technically, you should get refunded the difference. But I'm sure EB will think of some stupid excuse to deny you.
Give it a try, you might get lucky.
@variability, redeagle traded in a few games, plus cash, so he can't really do a buy and refund with the old receipt...

Some do, most don't. Best is to rebuy it and return the new one on the old receipt.

Actually, you can. You would just get it back (at least partially) on store credit. The only exception would be if he used a promo like the $15 TIV one where they bump it up to $30 towards Hitman that is specific to that title, in which case you'd only get back the TIV of the games, plus the amount paid in cash.

In this case i'm pretty sure it's a sale and not price drop.
I hate EB for this sometimes lol, you never know if it's a perma drop or just a time sensitive sale since both show up in their "price drop" section.
I've missed out on a few things over the years because I was thinking something was a regular price drop >.<

Anyone know what's the difference between the Future Shop Exclusive version (http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/produ...54d81b68b8en02), Best Buy Exclusive version (http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product/...3154e41bcaen02), and the regular version? They're all selling for $39.99.
