[EB Games] Playstation VR $299 / Bundle $479

Edit: EB Games has a better sale than Best Buy. $299 for the PSVR Core and $479 for the Bundle. Note that there is a minor PSVR hardware revision coming out with integrated headphones and HDR passthrough to TV. If you don't care about integrated headphones and if you don't have a 4K TV to take advantage of HDR, then this is a pretty good deal. Launch price of the PSVR Core was $550 and Bundle was $700.

Best Buy is having a Yellow Tag sale as well:

[Best Buy] PSVR Core $349.95:

[Best Buy] PSVR Bundle $499.99:

I had a feeling they were going to lower the price after 30 days of the last sale. But with the new model coming in, with "nice to have" feature. I kind of want that too lol

Probably not the best place to ask, but now that you mentioned it, if I have a 4K TV without HDR - would the new revision be better?

Not explicitly, but you can return your item within 30 days, then rebuy it.

As long as the CSR is nice enough to do it for you.

Anyone can confirm if you can combine this with the $100 off coupon? If so it’s a really hot deal imo.

Thanks op. Gonna go PM at best buy.

On a side note, anyone know if the white slim ps4 is still available? Not the pro model.

does the ps3 eye work with this ?

and I'm not up on PSVR but why would you need passthrough to a TV when you are using goggles ??

To avoid having to plug in and out your PSVR breakout box.... especially if you have an HDR enabled TV (which the PSVR, current version, cannot do....the next revision will)

If you bought with a credit card you might have price protection through your credit card company.

This, it will be cheaper and much easier for return and exchange.

Never buy hardware from EB unless you don't mind dealing with manufacture for defects.

Can anyone give a PSA about opened returns with the VR?

I remember some users reporting no returns in the past because BB see it as a hygiene concern.

Well Best Buy's page says:
"Special return policy
This product may be returned or exchanged as long as it remains unopened"
Which is interesting because it says exchanged too, which sounds like they won't exchange an opened defective one either, but that would be unusual for Best Buy.
