EB Games - Trade 2 get it for $9.99/$14.99/$19.99

I saw this deal on another site and decided to share it here. This how the deal works:

Trade 2 games and get a $59.99 game for $9.99
Trade 2 games and get a $64.99 game for $14.99
Trade 2 games and get a $69.99 game for $19.99

TIV of the games have to be at least $8. I called the EB near me and the guy said he has not heard of this deal yet but others have said they have seen posters and confirmed other EB's have started to run it.

They always have T3GIF = Trade 3 get it free. I don't think they have this deal going on all the time but someone can correct me if I'm wrong.

I don't believe this is a pre-order specific deal, but I may be wrong. This means you could go in and Trade 2 + whatever for Bordlerands, etc.

Ooooooh, I guess this explains the surge of dropping TIV's below $8 if they're going to let you trade 2 games and bump them up to $25 instead of the trade 3's max of $23.33 for a $69.99 game.

EB I was at said that all new releases in November qualified for this promo. Didn't help that of the 4 games I brought, THREE fell under $8 today (360 Riddick, Far Cry 2, FEAR2).

This is actually a surprisingly decent promo from EB. I like it because it allows the customer to pick up some older titles now that the hype has died down and a wealth of reviews are available . . . this is assuming of course, the titles applicable are recent ones and not just new, unreleased November titles. Also is nice for newer games that have dropped below 69.99, such as Forza, Ratchet, UC 2, and Wii games. It's a big relief knowing you only need 2 titles and can burn up some credit for the third, since 9.99-14.99 is actually a decent price point. I'd recommend still doing T3's for the 69.99 titles, unless of course you bring in games you bought specifically for the promo that cost you more than 19.99.

Edit - that must be out of date as the guy two posts up reports far cry 2 doesn't work today, and I highly doubt zoids went up
