I wonder if people would pay that much for my mint condition playbook with cover.

no bb10, slow, browser crashes, less than hd resolution, etc.

Very informative.

At the $100 price point your options are a Kobo arc, a low end Acer, a Lenovo IdeaTab, and a used Touchpad.

Hardware wise I think it's pretty good, though of course it depends on how much you like the OS.

I own a 32gb one. The unit is solid. but it lacks apps. My daughter uses it to view videos. I use it for the browser. It has never crashed once.

Lack of decent app market, little support from MFG, slow updates, no internationalization support, limited codec supports for default and market video apps, bulky body and poor battery life are few of the *crap* factors I've found with the device.

Of course, it might be suitable for other people's usage and its just my opinion.

I had a Playbook when it first came out. The Playbook feels like a brick compared to the tablets out now, which are considerably lighter.

It was a very nice piece of hardware when it was released, built like a tank... I enjoyed mine for a while but it is only useful for local media consumption and web browsing now and I have to say you're much better off spending that money towards a Nexus 7 2013 which is what I replaced mine with... so much better in every way it's not even an argument.

I sold my 16GB used on kijiji in the fall for $100 after the no BB10 update after all bomb got dropped.

garbage. consider a kobo arc 64gb for $100 if you can find one. even the 32gb walks all over the playbook (32 gb in stock at walmart)

playbook. no apps, wifi is flakey, swelling back problems. however: nice screen, stereo front facing speakers. thats about it.

they promised Android side loading, that was a crock. didn't even play videos well.

the playbook has no redeeming features IMO. it was junk and i was glad to be rid of it.

Paid $99 for a new 32gb. 16gb refurb for $90....Ice Cold

EDIT: LOL! remember the guys that stole a truckload of playbooks? hahahaha!
