Decent deal for anyone looking for a 2.5" 1TB SSD. Ebay emailed me a $10 coupon a few days ago (unique code) which can be applied to this purchase. Total came out to $153.84 after taxes and coupon in Ontario, free shipping.

And please don't turn this into a "why would you buy a SATA III SSD over an M.2/NVME etc." thread. There are still tons of uses for 2.5" SSD drives (older laptops/desktops, gaming consoles etc.). I'll be putting this in a PS4 Pro myself.

I swear you can get this for around 100 right now? Am I missing something?

I haven’t seen it go that low.

Agreed. I read an article that these drives are going to fall in price aggressively this year.

They said the same since BF last year. Supposedly, we should have seen big price drop in Q1. Did they drop since then? Yes, about 10-15% except occasional deals like the Intel 660p. But as a whole, no where near the 'big' drop they predicted especially for the 2TB size which saw virtually no price movement.

You're probably thinking of US ssds, which frequently go down to ~100usd.
