How is this compared to the LG SJ4Y posted earlier?

I went with this and a 200 bucks subbie and am really happy. Great sound and HDMI arc actually works unlike the Vizio SB crap. The 3D surround is virtual but still nice.

I posted a reply on the other thread from the newegg site, from what I read there and comparing specs this is the same as the YAS-108. It has a different model code that was made for Costco and Amazon.com. The specs were identical when comparing side by side. Ordered on Tuesday and it's set to arrive tomorrow.

Which way is this supposed to sit?
I see it mounted against a wall, and then sitting flat in a few pics, shouldn't this matter, or is this using some kind of sound reflecting technology thing?

OOS, I have this soundbar and it's great, got it from the last Newegg sale, paid $120 plus tax shipped. $113 would be hot, wouldn't mind picking up a second.

It says that it has a gyro sensor to detect which way it's oriented and adjusts for it.

How do you hook up the sub? Does it plug directly into the soundbar?

Yes. Bought an Amazon basic sub cable. Everything can be controlled through the nice Yamaha remote.

$113 is a nice price,I never actually grabbed one and i probably should of,
Currently i have 4 tower speakers in our bedroom and allthough our master room is decent size 500sq ft the wife hates the bid speakers and this would of worked and the towers could of went to another room.
ING Direct since the beginning! Tangerine to the end!
