[eBay.ca] Avera 55EQX10 55-Inch 2160p 4K - 399.99

I haven't heard anything on these panels and with very little reviews online anyone know if they're any good? Or is it worth it to go for one of the Haier/RCA brand ones instead.

EDIT: This is for 55" I misread it but the brand has been discussed

It's an average TV at best... old 2015 model.

Newegg reviews: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.a ... 6889651007
Someone there mentioned ports are not HDMI 2.2 so he can't get DRM'ed contents displayed on the TV.

Slickdeals thread: https://slickdeals.net/f/9453931-avera- ... eal-newegg
Someone there mentioned its no HDR capable despite being advertised as so.

Amazon reviews: https://www.amazon.com/Avera-55EQX10-Ul ... B01FRQGO4W

Problem would be mainly returns if you didn't like it versus buying RCA/Haier from Costco/RCSS/WM

$100 less than a very comparable model RCA/Haier at Costco etc.

I'm in.

If its true about lack of HDCP 2.2 then its not comparable at all, you wont be able to get 4k netflix et al on it

I have the 40" model that I use for a monitor and I love it. You just have to make sure you go into the service menu and adjust the sharpness if you are feeding it a 4k signal. It will default sharpness to 50 and it can't be changed through the normal tv menu

Where do you see on the ebay listing that seller covers returns ? I might have missed it.

Edit: Just checked and it actually says "returns not accepted" this is a final sale it seems

The lack of HDCP 2.2 is very glaring. I'm out!

RETURNS

Newegg understands that not every purchase is a good fit for every customer. That’s why we make the return process as simple as possible using the eBay interface. Combining the best of both worlds, you will receive the award-winning Newegg customer service that millions of consumers know and enjoy while using a familiar and convenient interface.

Right on the listing.

That doesn't say anything about a return policy. That just basically says all returns are done using the eBay interface.

The eBay return interface will tell you what is listed as the return policy for this item, which according to the ad is:
