[eBay.ca] BlackBerry Priv - Brand New - Factory Unlocked - $364.99

A seller on eBay Canada has the BlackBerry Priv on sale for $374.99. This is the cheapest price I've ever seen it be. Seems like a really good deal for an unlocked and still capable smartphone with the benefit of having a physical keyboard, and it runs Android too!

EDIT: Price has now dropped to $364.99.

Pretty good deal - it has wireless charging also I believe.

Phones have beautiful design and screens. My early Priv was not great (over heated) but my new one is amazing.

From what I've seen, there hasn't been an Ebay coupon for a while now (correct me if I'm wrong), so there's a good chance one should be dropping soon. But then again, the seller only has a limited quantity of Priv's.

Interesting....the listing shows the model as STV100-2....

Doing a quick google search - this is the Verizon version which supports wireless charging..

I think I purchased a PRIV from this seller before and it was the Verizon model......came fully unlocked and I believe the update issue has been resolved..

Decent price.....I personally found the PRIV keyboard too squishy and while the slideout was neat at first, became a bit of nuisance for me....

I prefer the nonsliding keyboard...like on the Passport or the soon to be out KEYOne...

For those that have this phone, how do you accept text autocomplete? When the predicted word is correct, how do you insert it in the text? That's my biggest beef with my Z30. My fingers often sweep the wrong word and the text is wrong if I don't notice it.

Word of caution, that's a Verizon -2 model. This one does not get updates as frequent as the fully unlocked model, think it's still stuck several patches behind.

Also LTE compatibility may be a question, it's VERY limited.

The myth on the Internet is that Canadians are nice people. Those people who say this just haven't been on RFD.

At this price, you're better off buying a brand new one from BlackBerry directly for $399: http://store.shopblackberry.com/store/b ... D.66826200

$30 more, but you get proper band support and monthly updates, and actual warranty (at least until BlackBerry shuts that down). BlackBerry will NOT honour the warranty on that eBay unit.

Yes, it is. My son has one and it charges fine on my Samsung wireless charger.
