Finally was able to place an order. I missed a couple of posts whenever this refurbished vacuum goes for sale on ebay.

Thanks OP.

This is essentially the V6 Full Kit. Same as Costco is offering for $400. So it comes down to $160 for an extra year of warranty (or two additional years if you use a credit card with that kind of benefit).

I'm conflicted. ~$250 is a lot for a vacuum that is basically not repairable if it breaks down after a year.

Question: Anyone try the soft roller brush head for barefloors?

Wireless vacuums seem like a bad idea long term. My last vacuum lasted 10 years. Batteries in cellphones, laptops, UPS's show reduced capacity after a 2-3 years, and get worse each year. I dont want to get to year 5 and have to hunt around on e-bay for an after market that I have to install myself.

23W regular suction and 100W on boost is pretty weak for a main vacuum. Most top ones offer 180-230W of suction.

Seems more marketing than actual deal, but feel free to correct me.

Thanks OP
Bought 2 as gifts.
Just a note if giving as gifts, when I bought my refurbished Dyson from the Dyson outlet on ebay it came in significantly used condition. Battery is good and all that but labels were heavily worn out, scratches everywhere, and some dust still stuck in it. You may want to check them out before giving them away.

Well if your batteries dies you can always buy another one. It's removable.

Earlier post from OP states that he got 2 years when he registered his refurb unit. So maybe a total of three years with credit card extended warranty perk? Unless of course refurb items are excluded from the extended warranty perk of the credit card used for the purchase.

I checked mine and looks like refurb units are not exluded.
