Most wont wait for the price error to see if it comes. Honestly if i pull the trigger before it comes, I’ll either cancel or just return it to amazon if it’s 3800x.

Might use it till 3950x comes if it’s a 3900x then resell it if I decide to go for 3950x instead of 3900x. Of course I still debating 9900 tho it seems like I might go red depending on how 3950x benchmarks.

I bought the MSI X570 gaming plus from Canada computers for $205 (bundled with the 3600 saved $20) and it does the trick. Limited RGB but the case sits on the floor so those features are wasted on me.

UFO ratings across the board with my 1080 FE :)

This place gets weird with it's complaints sometimes.
I think it is a fair statement, unless the forum is being renamed RedFlagAvailability. There is no deal, and this is a deal forum. Maybe following up in the existing 3900x thread with this availability would have made more sense.

If that were the case, the countless iPhone threads over the years would've been shelved to Computers and Electronics or the Cell Phone forum.

When stock is very low, availability is the deal.

Its naive to assume otherwise.

Just report the thread, that's how the last thread like this got moved to the computers and electronic section. Availability isn't a deal.

Following! I'm going to wait and see what happens with 3900x order. If it goes through, I'm likely doing this. If not, I'll probably stick to the 3700x and grab a B450/X470 Carbon or B450 Tomahawk at MSRP.

@redflagdealsguy I feel like you've guided most of my build. Much thanks!

Almost everywhere is sold out except for this eBay listing.

The deal is having stock, not pricing.
So in other words (the correct ones) not a deal at all.

People fight to have the newest best iPhone, game console, etc. This is just one of (probably many) motherboards that support this processor.

Not a fan of the tiny chipset fans on the x570 boards. Since Ryzen 3 doesn't seem to overclock much, I'd probably go with a cheaper B450 unless I needed PCIe 4.0 lanes (and most probably don't). Sticking with my old Haswell 4C/8T for now... will keep an eye on Black Friday deals.

They all should post with the 3900X, but reliability and Turbo'ing may be a problem on some boards.

Inadequate or insufficient VRMs have led to Turbo'ing issues on some motherboards, this coupled with weaker current firmware and projected firmware support are big reasons why I'm recommending the Gigabyte Aorus Elite X570 for an X570 board under $300.

I'm paraphrasing research and discussions I've had on the matter, I am far from an expert.
