Newegg cancelled my eBay order saying the Elite is OOS.

I ended up pre-ordering the X570 Aorus Pro WiFi from Amazon.ca for $351+FS - ships July 31. I figure $351 isn't that much more than $273, especially considering that I scooped up over $4000 in Amazon Gift Cards before Prime Day at 90% value. That plus Amazon shipping/returns :)

$4000 in Amazon Gift cards at 90% of sticker?

You're rivaling my power level....

Did you order firm Newegg website or eBay store? eBay store is still showing stock.

Yeah. Some were even at 85%. I knew I'd be buying a lot of parts since I'm building two systems at once. If the 3900X @ $528 comes through, it ends up only costing $20 more than getting a 3700X at a computer shop.

eBay store. Recieved cancellation directly from Newegg though - waiting for them to cancel my eBay purchase and refund on PayPal

At this crazy rate of price errors and sales, I won't even have enough in GCs left to buy GPUs lmao

Yes I went to cc first thing Sunday morning it was at the $552 price and not the $528 I order from Amazon . The catch was I had to get the warranty which I'm ok with as they were only going to give me the cpu for $630 unless I pad the warranty plan i figure $20 more for the warranty why not.
This was a very exceptional deal they made me .
They only made the offer to one other person after as they called in when I was there. I went there yesterday and ask them if they had others ask about it that's how I know they only did it for one other person.
So far the cpu is pretty good though x470 overclock setting are a major pain in the ass with all the dynamic offset bs. I'm staying away from gigabyte if I upgrade to a x570 board.

Why stay away from Gigabyte? They seem to have the best VRMs and overall best X570 boards this time around, unlike the B450/X470 boards.

MSI seems to be the big loser this time.

its the dynamic offset oc setting, I cant figure out. no direct voltage controls its all done via offset at least on my x470

I think @superfresh89 is right to ask.

In the X570, Gigabyte is being lauded for their higher end boards and history of healthy firmware support.

Everything Gigabyte Aorus Elite and up seems to be solid in their line up and will run everything including the upcoming 3950X and Turbo those chips without issue.

I'm using ASUS ROG Strix B450-F, I'm thinking this board should I return the B450-F and get this?

This board seems really soild, as soild as AROUS Master

But if the overclock settings are the same as the x470 I'll pass on it

This is the one I got right now

If it works for you, keep it. Asus is a decent brand, most of the time.

I wouldn't be surprised. I don't own the X470 version, so it's an upgrade.

For those who ordered this, did you order it from eBay or directly from Newegg? How long did it take to arrive? Which route do you think would ship quicker? I have all my parts staring at me and screaming for a motherboard lol. If this won't arrive within a week, I'm going TOMAHAWK! :D

SoftwareCity.ca is selling the Asus board, on backorder apparently.

I'm not direct linking because they're a spotty vendor, possibly a little worse than the 7/10 Mike's Computer Shop.
