Ebay charging tax to WA state; but I only pick up items cross border. Any way to avoid tax?

So WA state convince ebay to collect tax to all items purchased on ebay regardless of origin (Jan 1 2019)

I have a PO box in WA state just across the border and have no property/citizenship with the US/WA.

Has anyone come up with a way not pay tax on Ebay or get your taxes deducted by WA state reimbursed...?

Thanks!

ps..whatever happened to no taxation without representation.

Your place of delivery is in WA state and as a BC resident you are not eligible for a WA state sales tax exemption (Albertans are, because they have 0 rate sales tax). No different than buying retail bricks&mortar store in WA state - no exemption either for BC residents.

Effective Jan 1, 2019. Blaine tax is also now 8.7% rather than the former 8.5%.

Further on @[robsaw] comment, I don't believe Albertans get rebates on sales tax on online order to WA.
I know some people w/ BC DL and AB ID tho LOL

Look for small/mid-sized sellers that don't charge sales tax. eBay is supposed to collect sales tax for CA too but some don't charge it. Or get a PO box in Montana. Face With Stuck-out Tongue And Tightly-closed Eyes
