Can existing residential customers on a lower tier cable plan be upgraded to this promo rate for 12 months?

Is this BYOM, rental, or buy a modem? Activation fees, etc?

Also, do you work for EBox?
Tis banana is IRIE

10% off is cold, 50% off is warm, 75% off is hot, but FREE IS RFD!

That's what I would like to know. I'm on month to month and wondering if I can just switch back after the 12 month period ends

Usually this is for new clients but i would call in to verify what they can do.

@chimaican You can BYOM for $20 provided it is on the compatibility list ( http://www.ebox.ca/en/compatible-modems/ ) or buy/rent a modem. Activation fee is $0 when you transfer from an existing service provider (Rogers etc....). If you need a fresh new install it is $49.95 at the moment on R-Cable.

We all wish internet access was this cheap. But at this price, the ISP is barely making anything, if at all.

Rogers cable. Meaning for Rogers serviced areas.

I've done this before. Just note, you need "a disconnection date booked at least 21 days from your order". It's an often overlooked important detail!

It doesn't need to be only Rogers, it can be Start, Teksavvy or anybody else that uses the Rogers cable infrastructure.

Man, If I was offered this, I would have stayed - ended up at CanNet.

I didn't have any issues with eBox during my time with them - maybe disconnected 1-2 times a year. Pretty solid overall.

for 12 months I am not sure if it's worth the hassles for people to switch,
$20 for BYOD spread it across 12 months you are basically paying ~$34.61/mo
still cheaper than Cannet 75/10 with the mandatory $5 modem rental but the price is only good for 12 months.
$59.95 after 12 months.
