I am looking to get approx 550 sq ft of engineered hardwood for a portion of my condo. I refuse to pay Home Depot pricing because I don't find their selection or pricing that great.
Looking anywhere from Hamilton to Toronto - don't care where but want some place that has good selection, great quality and, of course, great pricing.
Suggestions?

Engineered Hardwood
We bought ours at Value Wood in Etobicoke -- brand was Vintage Solid Sawn -- one of the best in quality - paid $6 per sq ft -- installer picked up the wood so no delivery charge.

Had a friend but his at Amazon in markham.
He said the quality and price was good and the sale person knew what he was talking about.
I believe they are located by steeles and woodbine.
Cheers !_______________
RFD priceless!

I can't suggest where to buy but I can tell you not to buy at Brampton Hardwood Flooring. Unfortunately you won't see the thread/posts explaining why to avoid them as they have all been deleted under the threat of legal action. But if you google Brampton Hardwood Scam you should find the cached version. The victim also left a review on Homestars.

Wow! Thanks for the intel. Glad I read your post before the powers-that-be yanked it off the forum like they did with the original post.

glad you made this post and I basically want to ask the same questions, except I'm in Hamilton.
From what I gathered from the other massive thread was if you're going to buy engineered hardwood you have to buy GOOD stuff. I read over and over again about Solid Sawn by Vintage seemed to be unanimously suggested.
Just have to find someone locally who sells it.

Would you guys choose Value Wood or this company, who delivers to the door?
They seem to have specials on engineered hardwood and are supposed to use North American wood.

Thanks!
