Locked: EI employee loses her job for doing the right thing

Pretty sad, given that when the government commits EI fraud (by inappropriately denying benefits), they are causing psychological injury to EI claimants, and actually impeding their progress towards re-employment. The last thing a newly unemployed worker needs is to have a legitimate EI claim unduly rejected. Its abusive and disgusting that such is occurring. Hiding behind an army of expensive lawyers isn't acceptable either.

EI claimants should be able to penalize the government for committing insurance fraud, much like the government penalizes EI claimants when they commit fraud.
