I don't think this is possible from what I have heard, one can not lay oneself off hence no EI eligibility, ditto for immediate family members. Govt wont mind taking money from you but getting the benefits back is a totally different story

Special Benefits for entrepreneurs, self-employed or owners, was added to allow for parental or medical paid leave. It never was intended to be for unemployment. An owner, by definition, is never unemployed in their business. Family that are employed are indeed covered by EI as long as all withholding taxes are on the books & remitted.
