Elderly driver hit man, kept on going with body through windshield
In Florida, US, a 94-year-old driver continued his journey for three miles after hitting a pedestrian. The pedestrian, was left dead, and lodged in the cars windshield. Ralph Parker, the driver, was stopped at a Sunshine Skyway bridge tollbooth.
St. Petersburg police Officer Mike Jockers said: "He had no idea he had been involved in an accident. He doesn't totally understand what happened." Parker thought the body had fallen from the sky.
The victim, who's name hasn't been released, had his leg severed during the accident and it was left behind on South 34th Street. His head and arms went through the windscreen and the rest of the body was on top of the car.

Another reason for mandatory re-testing of drivers.

They don't get practical testing...they just redo the G1 knowledge test I think that's wrong since older drivers probably pose the most danger on the road look that the Floridian.

you guys remember that woman that hit that guy. the injured pedestrian was stuck in her windshield for 3 days while the car was parked in her garage. when the guy died, the woman and boyfriend removed and dumped the body.
pretty sick. she was under the influence of drugs when she hit the guy.

Something similar happened in Montreal a year or so. A drunk driver ran into a group of teenagers, and one boy went through the windshield. The drunk drove home, parked his car in the garage, and went to bed. The next morning he went to the garage and was horrified to find the dead teen on the hood of his car halfway through the windshield. The police said the boy was still alive hours after the drunk parked his car and was sleeping it off. The courts are much too lenient with criminals like this. Let the punishment fit the crime.
When I was young, my younger sister was hit in by a car front of our house while on her bicycle. She ended up in the ditch across the street. Luckily she wasn't hurt. The first thing the driver did when he got out of his vehicle, was to check his car for damage
. Then he went to check on my sister. I couldn't believe what I had just seen. I was only 10, but I was mad as hell that the guy had the nerve to check his car for damage before the child he had just hit. What a world class jerk
My mom let him have it though

Old people are an absolute HAZARD on the road.
Any time you see a Buick Century you can be assured its an old person, and never pick that lane._______________

I find cars with those "veterian" plates are the worst driver.
They drive like they regret they didn't die during wars. I always see them changing lanes with very close (we are talking about 10 ~ 20 cm) distance with cars behind, constant speeding and emergency breaks, running over red lights (which had turned red for more than 5 seconds), yet best of all, drive less than 80 km/h on highways at fast lane.
Yet they drive the most protected cars from the old days... scare little civic drivers like me...
