Wow, are they really going to continue on for another 4 years? I thought the actors were already fighting to end the show last year because they asked for a huge raise. It must be so boring and tedious for them .. doing the same thing for 15+ years ...

That's pretty much par for the course as far as south park is concerned.

Which is why I say the Simpsons doesn't rely on shock value.

I haven't seen terribly many of the newer ones, so I can't really say. Simpsons is constantly showing reruns, though, and the major Simpsons-heads I know will watch them again and again because they age well and are still funny the second, third or fourth time through. That's something shock-based humour can't match.
