Sign up for your uni's Frosh - specifically the program or faculty you're in. Even if they charge you extra for it, it's worth it! 1st year is soo awkward and everyone around you won't know each other.

yes ! FACEBOOK! mack some serious ho*z on dat before school yr, then go meet em. But beware of teh ugly ones, this one ugly msged me, i talked to her, she kept stalkin me for the first month or so, until i stopped pickin up her calls.

yeah classes going in now are lucky - they have groups like "Going to ___ in september!" and "Class of 2013 business!" etc where you can meet a bunch of people before you even get there
